A happier team starts with a conversation.
Make space to listen, share and find a practical next step together.

People experience the same workplace differently. Making time to listen is a useful starting point for understanding what a team needs.
Ask about everyday experience
Try a question with room for an honest answer: “What made this week easier, and what made it harder?” Give people the option to pass, and keep personal details theirs to share.
Listen without rushing to a solution
Reflect on what you heard before offering a fix. Different people may need different kinds of support, and some conversations belong in a private setting.
Agree on one practical change
A clearer meeting rhythm, more realistic handovers or protected focus time can be something to try together. Agree on when you will revisit it, and ask what has changed.
